MLM Training – First Timers MLM Training Guide For Network Marketing Success

My first day in MLM Training!

I was both excited and nervous because I had just completed my first “NDO” or New Distributor Orientation with my Millionaire upline from Taiwan. He had joined Amway more than 10 years ago, became a Diamond in Amway but quit later and switched to Nuskin. He became a Team Elite Million Dollar Earner in Nuskin and now I believe he has made over 10 million US Dollars in MLM.

My upline said, “This business is very simple. All you need are these 4 pieces of paper!”

“Hmm!” I was kinda skeptical, yet I had to believe him because he is successful.

So he dug out a few pieces of paper from his pocket and started writing down on the whiteboard.

1) 2 Important Concepts:

i) Long Term Thinking

ii) 100% Duplication

“Ok! the first important concept in our training today is to have LONG TERM THINKING!”

Then he started to explain about why MLM or Network Marketing is a long term business just like any other traditional business, minus the problems of traditional businesses like employee problems, logistics problems, management issues etc! which are all handled by the MLM or Network Marketing company.

All you have to care about is “Building your network of distributors around the world”.

“Give yourself the next 1 to 2 years to build a solid network of distributors around the world and you will become the owner of a multinational network that generates solid income for you every month, even if you are sleeping in Singapore and others are still awake in Japan.”

Now that sounds really exciting to me!

The next 1 or 2 years all my friends would still eating textbooks for breakfast in university, while I would be building my pipeline to early retirement.

And so I did exactly that, I told myself, “For the next 1 to 2 years, I will give 110% to my network marketing business!”

2 years later in 2003, my network grew from Singapore to Malaysia, China, Indonesia and I had customers from as far away as Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong!

So that is exactly what YOU MUST DO too, commit to give yourself at least 1 to 2 years to build your business!

Have “LONG TERM THINKING!” and treat your network marketing business like a real business!

Important concept number two, “100% Duplication”.

“Duplication is the key to success in network marketing, however to quote this example!

1 x 1 = 1

0.9 x 0.9 = 0.81

0.8 x 0.8 = 0.64

0.7 x 0.7 = 0.49

0.6 x 0.6 = 0.36

0.5 x 0.5 = 0.25

and so on!

If we are to put that in percentages as in 100%, 90%, 80%, etc! it simply means that the less you duplicate the successful system that your upline taught you, the less your chances of success!

Well, that seems to be quite logical to a certain extent.

McDonald’s uses franchising to expand their business around the world and if you notice McDonald’s will always maintain its brand capital “M” and colors “yellow and red” theme in their fast food restaurants from USA to China and even Russia.

The system is 100% duplicated across the globe.

Once you understand this concept, you realise that you should trust your successful upline and use the system they are using to achieve success.

“Do not reinvent the wheel unless it’s to make it more efficient!”

Every network marketing company or organization should have an efficient and effective duplication system that everyone in the organization can copy easily to achieve their own level of success in the business.

“Ok, so follow my successful mentor and I will not go wrong! I get the message.”

Then my millionaire upline wrote on the board,

“First you must be willing to leave behind all your baggage from your previous job or business and have a BACK TO ZERO mentality, so that you can start on the right foot and we can guide you in the right path towards success!”

“After that, once you have reached a certain level of success in the business, your role switches to teaching, guiding and leading your team towards their success!”

Thus, the 3 steps to success in your MLM business is to first be able to go back to zero and start learning the ropes, then lead by example and take action to achieve success, before finally teaching others to do the same.

While you play a vital role in your own business, your company or organization should have a proper support system that provides you with a number of successful upline or sideline leaders who are already successful.

These leaders act as mentors to keep you on the right track and lead you in the right direction. They are very approachable, willing to help you learn and overcome difficulties that you will meet along the way.

There should be regular company or organization level events which cover training sessions, motivational rallies, experience sharing and company meetings ranging from small team gatherings to big hotel meetings.

The bottom line is, network marketing or MLM is still a people business and people since the dawn of time, need to gather together regularly.

“Just like a piece of red hot burning charcoal in a flaming bon-fire, if you take out that lone piece of charcoal and move it away from the bon-fire, what happens to that lone piece of charcoal?”

“It starts to cool off!”

“What happens if you put it back into the bon-fire again?”

“It heats up again and helps the bon-fire to continue burning brighter than before!”

Tools refer to things like a Video DVD that anyone can play in their DVD player at home or on their laptop/desktop computer and again have a top leader present the business opportunity to them professionally.

Well, i really hate to say this because it sounds like a old broken record, but sometime it really need to be play for someone, who I think their right brain is still in a coma stage.

There is lots of way to become wealthy of course, the quick, easy or lazy way.

Here are just a few:

1. Inherit Wealth

No work, no sweat, no worries.

The problem? It is hard to get adopted by rich and sickly parents. There are not many of these people around, while this method works.

It only works for a few. If you were one of the blessed, well, you wouldn’t be reading this article or finding ways to get rich. You would be cruising in the Caribbean now.

2. Marry someone who is already incredibly rich.

If you are not married now, hey, there is still time for you to find a wealthy spouse. But that’s not the subject of this article, as again, this is a way to wealth that few can do. Talking about Hollywood maybe you can go there and try your luck.

3. Hit it big in the stock market.

Your shares will double and triple in price. However, there is a problem. You have to already be rich to buy lots of stock and yes, there is always a catch in the stock market.But my friend this is a rich man game, high risk, high return, are you game enough to take the risk?

4. Win the lottery

I seen lot’s of people doing that, some even put 10 to 20% of their wages on that. But the math experts already know the truth: “The lottery is a voluntary tax on people who are really bad at math.” You are about 100 times more likely to be struck by lightning than to win the lottery. To put that into perspective, the odds are that you had to be struck by lightning 100 times before winning the lottery.My goodness out of a million numbers there is only one and after struck by lightning for a hundred times do you really feel like going out and having a good time spending your lottery money?

Lottery is entertainment, a reason to watch television or news paper to check if your number won a dollar or two. Play the lottery for fun, don’t use it for your primary investment.

5. Write a hit song or sing a hit song

I can’t sing. In fact, I can barely hum. If you are one of those rare individuals with superstar musical talent….go for it! Use that talent. Go for American idol make a million or two and enjoy. However, this article is not about writing hit songs. So if you are like me and can’t hold a tune, relax. There are plenty of other ways to financial independence.

And how About writing that great romance novel ?

Well, that is also a way to financial wealth, but a very rare way. Very few people are able to take this path.

Well, if these well-known ways to wealth won’t work for most of us, then how do average people become wealthy?

How you can leverage on technology and people for your business.

Ok, listen the first way to increase your income and build your investment fund is to have your money work for you. And, as we have seen, there are several ways to accumulate the money you need to get your investment fund started.

The second way to build your investment fast is through the principle of LEVERAGE on other people’s efforts and technology to help you accumulate and build your investment fund faster.

Here’s how to use people leverage in your business.

As the only employee of your business, you are limited to how many projects you can do in one day with only two hands and 8 hours. If you want to earn more money is by increasing the numbers of projects you can do, then you have to hire worker or helper.

Maybe you decide to pay your employee $20 for every project he or she do. Since you charge your customer $30 for every project, you now make an extra of $10 whenever your employee finished a project for you.

The more people you hire, you have more project in hand and the more money you make. This is what we mean by leveraging your time and effort through other people.

Do you have to hire more employees and use this leverage principle?

This is just another method to build your investment fund. Having extra options and choices are always nice.

Whenever you start a business you can use this people leveraging principle to quickly build your investment fund. However, many people won’t use this means of leveraging because:

1. They don’t want employee headaches

2. They want to keep their business small and manageable.

3. They don’t want to be responsible for overseeing other people.

4. They don’t want the paperwork and insurance headaches, etc.

If this method of people leveraging doesn’t appeal to you, there is yet another way to leverage your efforts.

Most people do network marketing every day, but they just don’t get paid for it.

You see, network marketing is nothing more than recommending and promoting what you like. If you are like most people, you recommend and promote:

Like when you watch a nice movie, will you tell your friend? Or sports team, restaurants, funny joke and the list go on…….

Since you recommend and promote daily, why not get paid for it, right?

Or you can continue recommending and promoting for free. Free isn’t bad. Charity work makes the world a better place. But if you are tired of working for free and want to join some smart entrepreneurs who get an extra income in their mailbox every month, you will want to check out internet network marketing.

Theses companies will actually pay you for recommending and promoting their goods or services. Instead of spending money on television advertising or newspaper ads, these companies rely on word of mouth promotion.

And if you can tell the whole world about your product or services, you will be doing business world wide. Let’s say you have a relative who stay in a different states or your brother who is now living in Canada, maybe in Asia. How can you show him or her about your great opportunity and product? You don’t have to travel to them, use your computer.

The Internet.

In every field, from health insurance to electronics, from education to stock trading to home buying, more than 50 percent of American consumers are already going into the Internet, it’s so convenient now that we can call and see each other on the computer or even sent an instant message and picture by hiting on our enter key on our keyboard. I know of some people who use their network marketing income to accelerate their investment fund. In some cases, their part time network marketing income exceeded the income from their regular job so they decided to make network marketing their full time profession.

Easy Ways to Find Content For Your Social Media Network

Finding fresh an interesting content to post on your social media network or for your blog can be a difficult and frustrating venture. Sometimes your brain goes into overload, and just doesn’t want to come up with something innovative or original.

That’s OK. We can’t all be geniuses, and original geniuses at that, during every waking hour and thinking moment. To help ease the overload, here’s a few tips on how to easily find content to publish across your social media network and on your blog that will help drive traffic to your pages–without busting your brain.

Other Facebook Pages

Sharing posts by other business Facebook Pages is a great way to easily post content on your Facebook page. You can also post to your other social streams by using Buffer, which is integrated with Facebook’s sharing options. Log in as your business Facebook Page and click on Home (upper right corner) to get the news feed featuring posts from other Pages that you have Liked. Scroll through the feed to find interesting and relevant content for your page, whether it be a community event, news item or just a fantastic photo. Click the Share link–you now have the option to share it immediately to your page, or you can schedule it for later using Buffer (the green button), which can also post to other networks.

Google Reader

Google Reader aggregates fresh content from Web sites and blogs based on search terms that you define into one easy-to-read page. You must have a Gmail account to set up Google Reader. On Google’s toolbar, click on More (on the right) and then Reader. You can subscribe to prepackaged feeds that Google has set up, or input your own specific search term to find feeds. Scroll through your feeds, then share using Buffer if you’ve got the app extension installed on your browser, or use Google+.

Google Alerts

Stay up to date on all Google search terms related to your business across the Web with Google Alerts–and gather content for your social media network and blog. These alerts can be emailed to you or you can add them to your Google Reader list, which may be an easier option rather than trying to keep track of emails. Again, you must have a Gmail account to sign up for alerts and to add them to your Reader. It’s easy as one, two, three–go to google.com/alerts, sign in, and add any search term related to your business. You can narrow the results by choosing only News, Blogs or another taxonomy, or subscribe to Everything, which I recommend, if you want to track your industry across all spectrums.

Trap!t and Zite

These two apps are fantastic to use with an iPad to search for content relative to your business and your interests. They gather content from around the Web, based on topics you choose, and present them in a magazine format with headlines, summaries and photos.

Zite allows you to share content directly to Twitter or Facebook, or save it through Evernote or Pocket for later referral. The only problem is, there is not an option to share on a Facebook business Page. You can only share to your personal Facebook page. You can’t schedule posts either.

Trap!t utilizes Buffer so you can schedule posts of content you find to your social streams, including Facebook Fan Pages and LinkedIn. It also saves content to Evernote and Pocket, as well as to its own reading list. Trap!t can also be used on a regular browser.

There you go, brain-fried-free content to share and grow your business’ Web presence.
